In the USA, the EU, and other regions, massive subsidies are being granted for local chip production. But what happens when the money from these subsidies runs out? And what strategy is the European Union pursuing in terms of technological innovation?

Does it? The complaints about China’s policy to conquer key markets with dumping prices are loud and frequent. The latest examples of cheap temptation are battery-powered cars and legacy semiconductors. How could they? That’s eventually the wrong question. Better ones might be: “Who let them?” And: “Why does it work?” A short consideration in hypocrisy.
